Movies, City Lights, Keira Knightley
It's Friday night. Whereas pretty much everyone else is getting wasted and creating ugly, ugly spawn of themselves, I am here sitting alone in my room watching Youtube and dreaming of having a coffee with Keira Knightley. Why Keira, I don't know. And why coffee, not beer or water? And the answer to that is, anyone who 'buys' water for their girlfriends on their first date is a cheap bastard (because water is free, in Melb at least). And what about beer? Well, beer is cheaper than coffee. But having a drink in midday is just poor. It imparts your judgement, and it will make ya say: "Your breasts are huge" instead of "Your eyes are huge".
My point was, I want to have a cup of coffee with Keira in the mid-afternoon, so we can go to the park afterwards and probably do a bit of something-something in the evening.
Why the hell am I talking about Keira Knightley? And why coffee? Because Coffee is good. Um um um.
So anyway, I just got back from the city. I took some photos and one of them is the photo you saw at the top of this page (.. or not. If you're reading this entry in say, 2008 or something, I would've changed it). Looking at my photographs, I noticed that some of them would look better if there weren't so many Aussie teens with mullets that kept on blocking my goddamn view. Wanks. Wow, that sentence didn't come out right. I meant, their body was blocking the way, not the mullets. And oh, I was trying to take a slow shutter photo of the Flinders-Swanston intersection.
It didn't come out as good as I expected, but I did take another photo of an underpass in front of the Arts Centre.

I wish there were more cars, but it was way past rush hours.
- In other news, I picked up the newspaper today and I noticed that today's issue of The Age has EG (entertainment guide) in it. So, Curse of The Golden Flower just come out in Australia a few weeks ago. What's up with that? Probably it has something to do with the sheer amount of cleavages in the movie, and maybe it has to be .. further censored or something. I don't know. So yeah, a lot of ya-know-whats. Which was both cool and uncool. After two hours of watching endless saltation of mammaries, I was starting to cringe and scratching on my seat. And oh, the image on the left is Gong Li in COTGF, just in case you haven't figured out why I would put that large amount of ya-know-whats alongside this paragraph.
Upon the 2 hours mark in Curse: "Enough! No more! Please! No more! AHHH NOOOOOOO.. hmmm"
Right.
I want to watch The Number 23 and Half Nelson.
Maybe it's just the poster, trailer and the ads, but I'm convinced enough to give it a go.
- I shouldn't have picked up EG though. I saw this ad that says today's the last day of Melbourne comedy festival. And I didn't go to any of the shows. Dammit! Looking at the line outside the theatre made me .. ah, what's the word.. emo. Yeah, emo. I'll go next year. Now, if only I can find someone who enjoy stand up comedy and is actually willing to shell out a couple of bucks for a night of hahas..
I'm pretty sure there are midgets, tranvestites and kuntil anaks at Melbourne comedy festival. So in theory, there should be plenty of Indonesians in the audience, right? Right?
I was going to review Heroes for this entry. But this post is pretty long already, so I guess it's for tomorrow or Sunday's entry.
