Tram route number 8 is dodgy. Nuff said.

I just got back from work. It was actually my first day at work at Nandos. I got a 6 hour shift today, from 5 to 11. Well, it's more like 5 to 11.30.. which is pretty shite. The work itself wasn't that bad. The cooking and all is ok, but the things you have to during closing time is pretty tiring. Well, tiring is an understatement.. there's so much stuff to do and so little time, because we have to pack up before 11.

I'm tired. I didn't have to wait for the tram to get home though, I got a lift back, so that's pretty good. I don't want to ride the number 8 at this time of the day. The number 8 and 1 is full of nasty things when the clock strikes 11. Hmm.

I was riding the tram to work this afternoon, and there was this guy walking in to the tram. He was huge. Like, muscly and looks like a dockside thug. Or something. He was huge. So anyway. He walked in the tram and light a cigarette. Well, I guess it was a cigarette, until I realized that it didn't smell like one, and it didn't look like one. It was wrapped in paper. I made a checklist in my mind: Standard white cigarette? No. Kretek? No.

Ok, so that ruled out conventional cigarettes. Then I realised..he was smoking something other than tobacco. Marijuana? Glue? Paper? Hmm.

What's wrong with this story? Well, picture this. There was a guy, smoking marijuana inside a tram. A moving tram. That's pretty badass. What a guy.

Route number 8 is dodgy. Nuff said.

Anywhoo, Nandos Brunswick is still looking for employees. And they actually prefer Indonesians to work there.. the manager is one herself. So.. yeah.
