A good friend of mine sent me a copy of a concept for one of his upcoming films, and he asked me if I can write the script for it. So I looked at it, and thought "Wow, this film could use a Project Mayhem-like scene!". Project Mayhem was this thing in Fight Club; it's the codename for endless shenanigans and chaos and more shenanigans inflicted upon.. well, everyone. Fight Club is a Hollywood movie, based on an American novel, written by a disgruntled ex-blue collar worker, Chuck Palahniuk.

In short, I think something's wrong with me. I have become way too Americanized. I grew up thinking that the US is the center of the world. No shit.

I was having this conversation last night about how today's generation is way too influenced by Western culture. They replaced hymns and Sunday morning cartoons with anorexic Hollywood superstars and music streaming from iTunes.

It's hard to talk about this and not be a hypocrite. Right now I'm listening to Thursday, an American band, in my iTunes. I'm wearing an Alexisonfire t-shirt, a Canadian band. I'm wearing Levi's. The keyboard that I'm typing on is made by Microsoft..
