Here's a sign that I'm sleep deprived.

Just an hour ago, I was having lunch with a friend and her friends.

And talk about making an awful first impression. So there I was, sitting on one of those ridiculously uncomfortable seat.

I bet the chair is designed to make the one seating on it feel miserable. And it's so unstable as well. So where was I? So I was sitting there, and I dropped my cig. I bent down to reach it, all while forgetting that it's hard for me to balance myself (i.e. think of it this way, I suck at gymnastics) when I'm doing this sort of thing.

So I fell. Rolled on the floor. In front of my friend and her friends. And in front of a bunch of other Melbourne Central-ians. I stood up, reached for my cig box, straightened myself and assured everyone that really, I'm ok.

I wasn't "ok". That was pretty bad, and awfully embarassing. We parted ways, and I still felt awkward half an hour after that. Heh, me and awkward moments.. inseparable.

So anyway, I went to VicMart this morning, and remembering what my Geology lecturer said about 'magic' rocks.. I went to this new age shop. Check this out, they're advertising Calcite as a rock that can help "Students of art and science". Ok, what the hell? It's just a friggin rock, get over it.

Ok, so it's shiny. So? Well, diamonds are shiny, too.. and it's priced at hundreds for just one piece smaller than a pea.. but diamonds are only concentrated carbon. It's amazing how much we pay for this stuff.

Huh.
