Apparently, there's a new tv show in Indonesia that mocks sinetron as part of its routine. Found a bootleg on the internet. Got a couple of questions though: Why is there a laughtrack (which is always an insult to my intelligence and sense of humor), and what would happen if this is such a hit? Would we then have a bunch of sinetron spoofs taking the place of the sinetron itself? Knowing that Indonesians have a tendency to copy whatever's a hit right now, then yes.. that's a possibility. Interesting. So anyway, it wasn't easy looking for these bootlegs in the first place, so I'm going to embed the videos here, just in case I want to watch them again.
