In the last few days, Melbourne Uni's student email system were flooded with numerous 'lost item' mails. In one single day, I can get around 20+. The thing is, I'm going on this field trip for 3 days.. and I wonder what's going to happen to my inbox..
So anyway, this is one example:
Hi all,

> attend to me, so i had to resort to the email. I was wearing it at the

> If this is your ring, please email me and i'll return it to you.
And this is the response:
Dear Shou Farn,
I am currently in search of this ring. Last I heard it was in the
possession of a hobbit. It would be best for you to return it to me.
If not, I will cast my giant eye over you and shoot out Beams of
Hellish Fire (tm).
Please call 1300-DARKLORD and ask for my secretary Saruman for the
delivery details. Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Sauron

Dark Lord of Mordor

Yeah. Well, at least some people still retain their sense of humor. Because I know there's a bunch of people that spams on the mailing list screaming: "OH WTF IS UP WITH THIS LOST ITEM FOUND EMAIL,.. GHYAR GHYAR"
So I think there's an equal proportion of hate mails and 'lost item' emails. Which is kind of silly, if you think about it.
I think there's something wrong with this spam of 'lost item' mail. They are trying to phish us. Die, phishers, die!!!
