Southeast Asia 2009. Anyone?

Hi guys, I am back. I have been away for a bit. There was that geology field trip, my two days with Minus the Bear, Soundwave and a quite interesting last weekend of the summer holiday. Without going into too much details (because I couldn't care less myself), I'll say that it was an exciting 10 days that wrapped my summer holiday like a massive fireworks coated layer. I don't fucking know how that would work, so shut up. Moving on.

Tonight, I came up with this idea to backpack Southeast Asia in the summer of 2009-2010. Why Southeast Asia? Several reasons, such as:

- Asian girls
- Cheap, tasty beer
- Picturesque Beaches
- Everything is cheap

The following combination can therefore be made:

- Asian girls with large prosthetic mammaries
- Cheap, tasty beer served by asian girls with large prosthetic mammaries on picturesque beaches where everything is cheap, including the beers

And so forth.

But seriously, it's mostly because it's budget travelling and because I'm a 21 year old who wants to see the world before I'm placed in a cubicle somewhere. I'm planning to go to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand for about 4-5 weeks at the end of the year. If I can successfully plan this, and pull it off, it's going to be legendary. It would be nice to remember an Indochina adventure when I was a 21 year old uni graduate. Sounds awesome.

Anyway, I'm back. That means more updates, and if you used to go here, please stay tuned.

EDIT: I'm considering the Philippines as an additional destination. Mostly because it's a well-developed country, and everyone there speaks English. It might be nice to stop there for a bit to catch some breath, and to experience some civilization for a change. And to Valerie, yes, I think what you suggested is an excellent idea. I've been having this idea to do the same thing anyway for the last few years, I just got held up by work and stuff. I'll have a think about it.
