Tiga Ratus

Halright. I just got back from the city. Went and watched 300. 5 words ought to be enough to describe it. Bloody, Badass-ness, Boobies, Blings and Beer(s).
- Bloody: This is quite obvious. It depicts the (near) legendary last stand of the 300 Spartans against a million of Persians. One might ask, what do you get when you throw thousands of butter-strong soldiers against a heavily armed Spartan? Hotdogs, Teriyakis and Minced Meat. The movie is that gory. Where else can you find a more detailed display of a 30-pound spear going through a man's chest? Not in National Geographic. Also, movie's full of a (what I presume, and what a review said) somewhat too-realistic display of beheading. Basically, the whole movie is a massive blood fest. It's Splendid. Moving on..

- Badass-ness: You HAVE to see the movie to know what I'm talking about. Imagine, if you will, a Spartan cleaving his way through a batallion of Xerxes' best men. Or, a Spartan whacking a 3-metre tall Rhino. Or, a King that climbs a mountain without any climbing tools. Or, a (what seems like) lazy king that has an eight pack. The whole movie is so saturated with badassness, it drowns out Chuck Norris' badassness. Chuck Norris is not in this movie, I was just trying to make a point. Also, the King has a hot wife. Badass motherfckr. Which leads us to the next point:

- Boobies: One sex scene, one scene with a nude girl (yes, a girl). Nuff said. Also, you get to see a lot of man boobs. Ripped, eight packs. Ripped, six packs. Not so ripped, one pack. Ugly, man boobs. Etcetera etcetera.

- Blings: The Persian King wears so much bling, it makes him look like a rapper multiplied by a factor of 16218268. Minus the horrid music. The scenes in the movie are heavily contrasted, so that makes it bling-y in some ways. The monster has a nipple-bling. Uncool.

- Beer: Doesn't have anything to do with 300. In fact, I didn't see any use of alcohol in it. Just got back from having a quick drink after the movie.

- Should you watch this movie? Heck yes. But not if you are a Persian. Or if you don't like blood (pussies).
