- So I picked up the newspaper this morning, and the headline announced: "Hardline President's gift to Britain". Apparently Iran has freed the 15 British sailors, and there were no reports of any mistreatment or anything. In fact, they were said to be grateful. Probably because grateful means: "Thank God they haven't pulled my arm/head/leg/nose off". So oil prices went down, US dollar rose, bunnies are dancing, basically everyone is happy.

I expected fireworks, missiles flying everywhere, roasted infidels, sharp rise in oil prices so the yuppies and international students in their Audi cars wouldn't be able to afford petrol anymore, immolated teletubbies, Chuck Norris going into gung-ho mode, fireworks and more fireworks..well, you get the idea. But mostly, I'm all for the "international students in their Audi and BMW cars not being able to afford petrol anymore" kind of thing. Just kidding. Ya know I love you guys in your fancy-schmancy cars.

- Gw baru tau kalo koran sini ngeliput berita yang tidak senonoh juga (i.e. kyk Poskota). Di The Age hari ini, ada berita tentang cewe umur 17 taun yang di gang-raped ama 6 orang. So apparently she got so drunk and was easily swayed to perform.. the thing you do when you do that thing you do. For 6 people. At the same time. And oh, it got videotaped. And don't try to find the video on the internet, and here's why. - Kyknya, kalau bioskop ga penuh, malem ini gw mo nonton 300 (Gw ampir mo nulis 'Sparta'). Tadi gw baca reviewnya, katanya filmnya gory abis. Adaptasi komiknya Frank Miller sih, liat aja Sin City. Tuh film tuh gak kurang dua hal: Boobs and Blood. Ok, maybe not that much boobs. But still a damn bloody movie. Heck, you can find all shades of blood in Sin City, yellow, red, pink, turquoise..

- Someone should make a bigscreen adaptation of The Sandman. No, not the Sandman from Spiderman continuity. Morpheus, Dream, Goth-king Sandman. More than a dozen books, it'll be epic. Lord of The Rings Epic.
