A lecture that costs $2 / minute, huh? I could buy a KFC fries for 2 bucks. And a bubblegum.

I was just thinking how messed up the reception desk people at College Square is. Just a few minutes ago, I was sorting out a couple of bills at the front desk when I saw smoke coming out of the admin office. It smells like burnt toast. That got me thinking, who the hell is that messed up to overtoast a leaf of bread? That doesn't make any sense. Until I realized that the College Square admins are a bunch of doofus. Eating chips and playing solitaire while pretending that you're doing something important is not professional. Heck, even I know that.

Why am I bitching? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have PMS right now.

Ok, maybe not. Or maybe it's because I need a holiday. Not holiday as in you-go-to-the-beach-and-get-drunk sort of thing, but more like, staying at home and doing an all nighter of video gaming and sitcoms. I think I know why I'm so gloomy lately; I haven't watched a sitcom in a while. I used to have my Scrubs fix to keep me zen. I could watch the same episode of Scrubs over, and over again. Then again, maybe it's because I haven't get any decent amount of sleep for the last few weeks. I've been spacing out during lectures, during conversations, and even when I went LANing the other day.

So I just got back from a 2 hr management lecture. I fell asleep on the first hour, which is not really what I expected. Hmm. I did a rough calculation on how much a two hour lecture would cost me, in terms of my semester tuition fee. Turns out it's about $250 for a two hour lecture, or in other words, I can ditch about five lectures and get myself a nice, new digital SLR. And $250 turns out to be about 2 bucks / minute. It makes you wonder whether I should use the money for something else, right? Like, I don't know, a private dance, or one of those call 1-900-numbers. Whatever. My point was, every time I dozed off during lectures, I could've used all that money to buy something else. Now, think about it, I fell asleep a couple of times during lectures this semester, and for my whole university life, that adds up to about.. uh, I don't know, dozens of hours. Heck, and add to that the number of classes that I've skipped, I could've bought myself a car. A decent car, for that matter.

I should stop bitching about my lethargy and go back to work.

p.s. And oh, if anyone has Friends season 1-10 (.. and I actually know someone who frequents this blog and happens to like Friends.. hmm), please comment on this post. (I need some entertainment, dammit!)
