May, Winter Hols, Autumn

It's May already, and for some people it could mean a few things. One is the fact that now it's about midway through autumn, meaning: foliages, shorter days and generally friendlier weather. For uni students, now is the perfect time to go to the library and study your ass off in the (relatively) warm comfort of library cubicles. As for me, I'm not much of a study-er, and if I want to warm myself up, I would watch pr0n and sit in front of the heater instead of going to the library. And I don't fancy walking through the flooded and muddy pathways around uni either; It ruins my Prada shoes.

It's a great time to be in Melbourne. It's that time of the year where you could get a nice balance between going out and staying at home. Nice weather, but it still doesn't hurt to stay inside all day. I'd love to stay at home and just watch sitcoms all day. Watching Scrubs and Friends all day sounds awesome. Too bad I have all these assignments until the exam period. And by that time I still have to cram everything in under 3 weeks time. My last exam's on the 13th, which is better than last year's exam timetable (I had an exam on the last day of the exam period).

I'm thinking of going to Jakarta this winter and getting myself another data processing job (i already did that last summer). I need an extra couple hundred dollars for either:
- a new graphic card for my pc
- an SLR (a Nikon d40x)

But if I want an extra $200 bucks, I could just not go home and use the ticket fare to get me one of those things. After all, a return ticket costs $1100. It's kind of dumb if you think about it. Going home to Indo to get a job so that you can save some money to buy something, instead of using the fare money itself.

I do need the work experience though..

So anyway, I was reading an article on The Age in Wikipedia. Apparently last month it was announced that The Age is going to reduce the size (the width) of its newspaper by next year. That's awesome. At least now it'll be more convenient to read. Now, if only it's as small as the Herald Sun..

I gotta go. Maybe I'll add more later tonight.
